PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic fender which is capable of effectively preventing a danger such as a burst due to the excessive increase in internal pressure, preventing a side surface of a fender body from being brought into contact with a head part, etc., of a tightening member when the fender body is excessively compressed, preventing damages of the fender body and bursts, etc., due to the repeated contact, and improving the safety and durability. SOLUTION: A rubber-like elastic stopper member 11 of a specified thickness is provided on an inner side of a fender body 10 side of annular flange plates 7a, 7b along the circumferential direction. The rubber-like elastic stopper members 11 are arranged over the whole circumferential surface of the fender body 10 side of the flange plates 7a, 7b, or with specified intervals. A notched part 12 of the height to cover at least a head part of a tightening member 8 is provided in the rubber-like elastic stopper member 11, and the side surface of the fender body 10 is prevented from being brought into contact with the head part, etc., of the tightening member 8 when the fender body 10 is excessively compressed so that the side surface of the fender body 10 is not damaged.
