PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutter control device capable of identifying all combinations of slit positions and cutters and finding out as many cutting possible combinations as possible. SOLUTION: A sheet cutter control device wherein a plurality of cutters 8a-8d for cutting a sheet material are provided in parallel in the cross direction and moved to the cross direction to be arranged at preset slit positions so that the positions of cutting lines are changed to obtain a preset width of sheet materials includes a comparison part for comparing the slit positions corresponding to the cutting lines with the movable ranged 28 of the cutters 8a-8d to store all patterns of the applicable cutters 8a-8d combined for the slit positions, and a movement control part 26 for setting target positions corresponding to the respective cutters 8a-8d in sequence regarding the respective patterns stored in the comparison part, estimating whether the cutters can clear mechanical limits and reach the target positions or not and judging that the target positions can be set if the cutters 8a-8d can reach the target positions to cause the cutters 8a-8d to be moved to the target positions.
