This three-dimensional, two-phased wind-wave converter consists of two groups of buoys in a construction that places each group in a phase difference of half a wavelength, so that the relative energy between these two groups are absorbed by three or more hydraulic pumps. Further more it absorbs the rolling multi-dimensional energy from all directions continuously, with the result that the level of efficiency increases four to five times compared to other solutions. With that, the price of energy can drop to several times lower than those of the competitors. The durability is also strong by the fact that these two groups utilise the energy without employing moorings as a counter force. This provides substantial stability in adverse weather conditions. It can be used for power production as well as a water pump. |
