LASHING DEVICE INTEGRATED IN TRUCK SUPERSTRUCTURE WALLS

The device is applied to the inside wall of a truck and is used to lash the load. A shallow cup (2) with tapering sides is surrounded by a flange (8). A crossbar (5) is fitted over the cup and the whole assembly is glued into a prepared recess in the truck wall. The crossbar takes lashing straps or the hooked ends (9) of spars (12) which are clipped across the load space of the truck. The fitting can be oval or round. The tapering sides of the cup guide the strap ends under the crossbar. The crossbar can be a flat metal strip with a central hole to take the spar hook, which is spring loaded.
