This mouse anti-human MP52 monoclonal antibody binds to dimeric human MP52 but not to monomeric human MP52. The mouse monoclonal antibody comprising IgG and has a high specificity can be obtained by sensitizing mice with human MP52 (CHO-MP52) produced in CHO cells and human MP52 (rhMP52) produced in escherichia coli. This antibody is useful in, for example, purifying or assaying human MP52 produced by genetic engineering techniques.
