PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat accumulating process including an active heat-dissipation regulating process which stabilizes the heat-dissipation initiation temperature for easy designing of a heat accumulating device using a latent-heat heat accumulator for moderate high temperatures, and a heat accumulating device using this. SOLUTION: A heat accumulating method, which includes a heat-accumulation process wherein a latent-heat heat accumulator is heated and melt and a heat- dissipation process wherein the heat accumulator is cooled and solidified, is characterized by the latent-heat heat-accumulator having a melting point of from 70 to 200 deg.C and by the heat-dissipation process wherein a heat impact is provided to the latent-heat heat accumulator. A heat accumulating device includes a latent-heat heat accumulator having a melting point of from 70 to 200 deg.C and comprises at least a heat accumulating tank wherein heat-exchange is carried out between the latent-heat heat accumulator and a heating medium, a heating medium-supplying facility which supplies a heating medium having a temperature lower than the melting point by 30 deg.C or more and a heat source device which regulates the temperature of the latent-heat heat accumulator to a temperature higher than the melting point by from 5 to 50 deg.C.
