PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a powerful stereoscopic picture being an image plane having a long sideway aspect ratio by utilizing a conventional image recording system through an attachment for photographing a stereoscopic picture. SOLUTION: This attachment is equipped with two 1st reflection surfaces 6a and 6b reflecting respective luminous fluxes made incident on two incident windows 2a and 2b provided right and left at a specified space respectively toward the inside, two 2nd reflection surfaces 7a and 7b reflecting the respective luminous fluxes reflected by the 1st reflection surfaces 6a and 6b toward the image-formation optical system of an image recorder so as to form a subject image in two image sections arranged up and down in the state that the image plane of the image recorder is bisected up and down, negative component lenses 3a and 3b provided near the windows 2a and 2b and functioning as the front group of a wide-angle converter and a convex component lens 14 provided between the 2nd reflection surfaces 7a and 7b and the image-formation optical system and functioning as the rear group of the wide-angle converter.
