PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera used both for silver salt photographing and electronic image picking which is excellent in operability and provided with a multiple exposure mode. SOLUTION: This camera 100 used both for silver salt photographing and electronic image picking up, which has an exposure operation for exposing a subject to a silver salt film and image pickup operation for picking up the subject by an image pickup element to store the subject in a storage element in synchronization with the exposure operation, is provided with a multiple exposure mode setting means 52 for setting a multiple exposure mode, an image synthesizing means for synthesizing plural image data picked up by the image pickup operation, when the exposure operation is executed plural times under the condition where the multiple exposure mode is set and a display means 23 for displaying the image data synthesized by the image synthesizing means.
