PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having good dryability in rapid processing, less liable to the occurrence of roller marks and excellent in heat resistance by incorporating an oxazoline type high molecular compd. into a hydrophilic colloidal layer disposed between a substrate and a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has hydrophilic colloidal layers including at least one photosensitive layer on the substrate and the hydrophilic colloidal layer between the substrate and the photosensitive layer contains an oxazoline type high molecular compd. This compd. is a copolymer contg. an oxazolinyl-contg. monomer of the formula as repeating units and an oxazoline type high molecular compd. latex or an oxazoline type water- soluble high molecular compd. is preferably used. In the formula, R1-R4 are each H, halogen, alkyl or the like and R5 is an acyclic org. group having an addition polymerizable unsatd. bond.
