PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the uniformity of a tire efficiently without causing the stagnation of one carrier line due to uniformity correction of the tire or the like. SOLUTION: In a method that tire uniformity measurement is made where a tire is supported, rotated, and driven by a rim shaft that is provided at halfway locations that oppose each other of the transfer conveyor of two left/right parallel lines for transferring the tire, a rotary drum 42 that is provided between the rim shafts at the left and right lines moves in left and right directions, is pressed to the tire being supported by the rim shaft of one line, and at the same time rotates for detecting a loaded state. In this case, when the measurement of uniformity of one tire being supported by the rim shaft of one line is completed, the rotary drum 42 moves to the center of both the lines and then moves to a line that is ready to measure uniformity first for measuring the uniformity of the tire being supported by the rim shaft of the line.
