摘要 PURPOSE: A rubber composition and a rubber vibration-proof material using the composition are provided, which the material has low hardness, small compression set, large loss tangent, small temperature-dependence, and good workability. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises a partially cross-linked butyl rubber of 100 weight parts and an extender of 50-200 weight parts. The composition can include further a filler, a vulcanizing agent, a workability-improving polymer and/or other additives for rubber. The rubber vibration-proof material is prepared by cross-linking and curing the rubber composition. The rubber vibration-proof material exhibits durometer hardness (JIS K6253) less than A15, preferably less than A10, Asker-C hardness more than 10, preferably more than 15, compression set (JIS K6262; 70°C, 24 hours) less than 20%, and loss tangent (25°C, 30 Hz) more than 0.1. The extender is a softening agent or a plasticizer, preferably a softening agent, more preferably an artificial oil, and the most preferably an artificial oil of paraffin series.
