PURPOSE: A color filter fabricating apparatus is provided to form a color filter with a good efficiency without an irregularity of a color. CONSTITUTION: The color filter fabricating apparatus comprises: a stage(34) for a substrate support loaded on a substrate; and an ink-jet head(26) for painting a color region on the substrate, wherein when the substrate is disposed on the stage for a substrate support, one in the color region among a noncontact portions has an area below 9mm¬2; and wherein the substrate is not contacted with the stage for the substrate support in the noncontact portions.
