PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system and maintenance method for technical service which enables customer engineers to share maintenance information and then can improve and homogenize the capabilities of the customer engineers. SOLUTION: The network system for technical service consists of a portable terminal 1 that a customer engineer carries, a computer 2 for maintenance information which stores information on actual results of maintenance and provides the information for the portable terminal 1, and an input terminal 3 for inputting the actual results of maintenance to the computer 2 for maintenance information. The computer 2 for maintenance information receives the actual results of maintenance from the input terminal 3 and an information request signal from the portable terminal 1, stores the information on the actual results of maintenance, and specifies requested information according to the information request signal, thereby taking the information out of a host storage means. Then the taken-out information is transmitted to the portable terminal 1. |
