<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the POS system, equipped with the three-dimensional menu key, which removes the limitation of the number of menu key buttons and has its operability improved. SOLUTION: When an article is registered, a menu pattern displayed at a menu key pattern selection part 7 of a display panel 1 is pressed, and then a menu key 17 of a menu keyboard part 8 of a display part 1 is pressed at the article corresponding to the menu pattern, so that information on the article at the depression position is transferred to a control program 10 of a main storage device 5 through a control part 2. The control program 10 obtains an article code by retrieval from a menu key information table 11, retrieves the corresponding article information from an article master 13 in a secondary storage device 6 on the basis of the article code, and displays the retrieved article at an article detail part 9 through the control part 2 and also voices the article name by a voice output part 3 at the same time.</p> |
