PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of deleting a search processing of a route which cannot be a traveling route. SOLUTION: In a navigation device, an information every in a predetermined block of a road network separated every in a predetermined range is recorded and a traveling route between an existence position detected and a destination inputted is selected and set (S18) and indicated (S20). The navigation device is provided with a recording medium for recording a partial route selected based on an evaluation quantity among the partial routes alternately connecting intersections every in the intersections of a border separating a predetermined block and a road with the evaluation quantity every in a predetermined range, a deciding means (S6) for deciding whether or not a connected predetermined block is within a predetermined range which does not include an existence position detected and a destination; and a means using a partial route including a predetermined block instead of a connection combination of the predetermined block within the predetermined range when it is judged that the judging means (S6) is within the predetermined range. |
