PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser scanning optical device capable of obtaining a satisfactory and constant high-quality picture by allowing at least one element of optical elements to be able to suppress the reduction of picture quality on a picture surface caused by the distortion due to the fluctuation of the ambient temp. of the device. SOLUTION: In the laser scanning optical device 3 provided with an optical element including scanning lens 331, 332, 333 and a reflection mirror, the scanning lenses 331, 332 are held between a supporting member 300 supporting the lenses 331, 332 and a pressing member 301 pressurizing the lenses 331, 332 toward the supporting member 300 and a scanning lens supporting part 331a' by the supporting member 300 is positioned on the extension lineα1 of a scanning lens pressurizing direction passing a scanning lens pressing part 331b' by the pressing member 301 in spite of the fluctuation of the ambient temp.
