PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk and an optical disk apparatus which can start the reproducing operation from a preceding reproduction interrupting point even if a disk is replaced. SOLUTION: An optical disk has a user definition position information table to which a user registers the position information to start reproducing operation and a reproduction end position information table to which the information of the position at which the apparatus has stopped the reproducing operation. The reproduction end position information table is formed of a plurality of reproduction end position information pieces indicating the reproduction end position and a next pointer information indicating the recording position of the reproduction end position information to be recorded next.
