PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery whose energy density is high and charging/discharging cycle characteristic is good. SOLUTION: This lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode 10, a negative electrode 12, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing electrolyte. As negative electrode active material of the negative electrode, carbon material formed by dispersing at least one kind of micro metallic particles respectively of metal forming alloy with lithium and non-alloy metal for lithium on high crystalline carbon or amorphous carbon particle is used, and as the positive electrode active material of the positive electrode NaFeO2 type layered compound is used. |
