PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable electrode layered structure capable of being miniaturized and capable of providing large electromotive force. SOLUTION: A plurality of composite electrode bodies 10 are layered, each provided with a positive electrode 11 and a negative electrode 12 with an electrolyte film 13 interposed between them. The respective composite electrode bodies 10 are arranged such that electrodes of a same polarity confront each other via a separator 25. Oxidizing gas passages 22 are formed between composite electrode bodies 10 with positive electrodes 11 confronting each other, while fuel gas passage 23 are formed between composite electrode bodies 10 with negative electrode 12 confronting each other. The composite electrode bodies 10 are electrically connected in series to each other with wires 26. The size can be reduced in the layering direction and in a direction perpendicular thereto. Also, large electromotive force can be obtained. |
