PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute correction work, and to reduce correction time by arranging each grinder whetstone of a plurality of grinder mechanisms so that the grinder whetstone can move in an axial direction at a position being offset in the circumferential direction of a tire one another, and by independently controlling the grinder whetstone. SOLUTION: A tire T to be corrected is pinched between upper and lower rim shafts 2 and 3 being directed in a vertical direction for supporting in a horizontal attitude, and the horizontal attitude is maintained by the rotation of the rim shafts 2 and 3 for rotating. Posts 5 and 6 are erected along the outer periphery of the tire T, first and second grinder mechanisms 11 and 51 are provided at the posts 5 and 6, and the first and second grinder mechanisms 11 and 51 are arranged at positions being offset in the circumference direction of the tire each other. By controlling a motor, the entire mechanism is elevated for adjusting the upper and lower positions of a grinder whetstone 21, the grinder whetstone 21 can be brought into contact with and be separated from the outer-periphery surface of the tire T by the drive of a servo cylinder 17, and the grinder whetstone 21 being rotated by the drive of the motor 22 can approach the required part of the tire T for grinding.
