PURPOSE: To provide a low thermal expansion alloy having excellent oxidation resistance and electric conductivity, and having a thermal expansion coefficient approximate to that of stabilized zirconia. CONSTITUTION: To obtain this alloy, Co is added to the Cr-W-Fe alloy having high thermal expansion matching with stabilized zirconia so as to improve mechanical strength at high temperature without spoiling thermal expansion coefficient matching, oxidation resistance and electric conductivity, or optimizes the Cr and AL amount so as to improve the oxidation resistance, brings the thermal expansion coefficient near the surface closer to that of stabilized zirconia, contains at least one of Ti, Zr, and Hf is contained, so as to enable hot working to be done. Co, AL and (Ti, Zr, Hf) are added either selectively or in combination and furthermore, B is added so as to prevent segregation of W to the grain boundary. Also, M(M=at least one of Y, Hf, Ce, La, Nd, Dy) is added to the Cr-W-Fe alloy so as to improve the oxidation resistance. |
