PURPOSE: A liquid crystal device is provided to suppress a declination around an end part of a pixel electrode. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal device comprises: a first substrate(20); a second substrate(30); and a liquid crystal layer(40) inserted between the first and second substrates(20, 30) and having a liquid crystal molecule(40a) therein, wherein the first substrate(20) comprises a first electrode opposing the liquid crystal layer(40), and the second substrate(30) comprises a second electrode opposing the liquid crystal layer(40); wherein the first electrode, the second electrode and a region of the liquid crystal layer defining a pixel region(100b), a voltage being applied to the region of the liquid crystal layer by the first and second electrodes; wherein the pixel region comprises a plurality of sub pixel regions wherein a liquid crystal molecule is arranged in an axis symmetry; and wherein at least one of the first and second electrodes has a plurality of holes regularly arranged on the pixel region.
