PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to suppress a generation of a display spot by a charge of a electrostatic ever after inserting a backlight. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a pair of light permeability substrates(12), a liquid crystal(16) being sealed between the light permeability substrates(12); a conductive film(7) formed at a surface of a deflection plate adding at one side of the liquid crystal display device and consisting of a high resistive conductor, wherein the conductive film(7) has a resistance value of about 10¬9; and wherein the liquid crystal display device is an in-plane switching(IPS) panel and comprises a backlight(22).
