METHOD OF GENERATION OF CATALYZER POLLUTED BY MERCURIC COMPOUND

PURPOSE: A method is provided to remove mercury from used catalyzer and to generate initial active form of the catalyzer to reuse the used catalyzer for the same purpose without necessity of composing new active form. CONSTITUTION: The method to process the catalyzer supported by the active form on the sulfuric compound and mineral supporting body base material and polluted by mercuric compound comprises the steps of: contacting the catalyzer with more than one of basic aqueous solution of sulfide selected from alkali metal sulfide, alkali-metal sulfide or ammonium sulfide; and separating the catalyzer from basic aqueous solution.
