PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor, wherein foreign sounds can be prevented at a pressure bonded face while satisfactory vibration characteristics can be secured for an elastic member and which can rotate a moving member smoothly and variable-control the rotary speed thereof. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor 1 is constituted of a stator and a moving member. The stator is constituted of an elastic member 30 having a pressure bonded face 30a of rotational symmetry, a piezoelectric element 31 for generating rotational displacement wave, having a frequency Fs on the pressure bonded face 30a of the elastic member 30, and a liner 32 provided on the pressure bonded face 30a of the elastic member 30. The moving member is constituted of an elastic member 40, having a pressure bonded face 40a of rotational symmetry facing the pressure bonded face 30a, a piezoelectric element 41 for generating rotational displacement wave which has frequency Fr on the pressure bonded face 40a of the elastic member 40, and a liner 42 provided on the pressure bonded face 40a of the elastic member 40. |
