PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery superior in a high-temperature resistance characteristic and a voltage resistance characteristic by providing a power generating element having a positive electrode, a separator and a negative electrode and an electrolytic solution, and using a mixed solvent of vinylene carbonate, propylene carbonate and chain carbonic ester for the solvent of the electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: The composition of vinylene carbonate with respect to the entire solvent is set to A vol.%, the composition of propylene carbonate against the entire solvent is set to B vol.%, and the composition (A+B) of a mixed solvent of vinylene carbonate and propylene carbonate satisfies 10<=(A+B)<=50, where A≠0 and B≠0. The composition of vinylene carbonate against the whole solvent is set to 3-20 vol.%. A positive electrode mix layer 1, a positive electrode current collector layer 2, an insulator layer 3 of an insulating material, a negative electrode current collector layer 4, a negative electrode mix layer 5 and a separator 6 are laminated in sequence to manufacture an electrode plate 20 constituting the power generating element of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. |
