PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a temporal delay of a reaction response of a communication equipment to be controlled by bringing the communication equipment that conducts intermittent reception through the reception of a standby request signal sent from a transmitter side equipment into a continuous reception state in advance. SOLUTION: A remote commander 10 consists of an operation system 11, a CPU 12, a light emitting section 13, and a detection section 14 that detects availability and the communication equipment 20 to be controlled consists of a light receiving section 21, a CPU 22, an operation system 23, a control system 24 and a display system 25 respectively. Through the configuration above, the availability detection section 14 has a function of detecting possibility of any operation by using the remote commander 10. When the detection section 14 detects the availability, the detection section 14 allows the CPU 12 to transmit a standby request signal to the communication equipment 20 to be controlled that conducts intermittent reception and allows the equipment 20 to produce a trigger signal to bring itself into the normal reception operating mode. Thus, power-saving is realized for a time band where the equipment 20 is not in use and the equipment 20 is quickly brought into the normal reception operating state. |
