PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart antimicrobial and sterilizing functions to a spectacle frame and to impart a function to remove electromagnetic waves. SOLUTION: Parts of at least part of a spectacle frame 1 consisting of plural parts, such as a frame 2, a bridge 3, hinges 4, temples 5 and ear bends 6, are provided with photocatalyst parts 9 consisting of titanium oxide in part thereof. In case dirt, saprophytic bacteria, mold, etc., adhere to the spectacle frame 1, these are decomposed and removed by the excitation of the photocatalyst parts 9 consisting of the titanium oxide by light energy. The electromagnetic waves leaking out when electric apparatus, such as portable telephone sets, are used are decomposed and removed by the excitation of the photocatalyst parts 9 by the light energy. |
