PURPOSE: An antibacterial molded product is provided, which has a high strength, does not generate an acidic gas in incineration, and can be applied to weak electric components, automobile components, building materials, kitchen utensils, a handle of a scalpel, and a display sheet or tray. CONSTITUTION: The molded product is prepared by thermo-molding a composition comprising a nonhalogen series thermoplastic resin in a range of 20-80 wt% and bamboo powder in a range of 20-80 wt%. Preferably the bamboo powder has a mean size of 5-500 micrometer, and is one treated with the warm water more than 50°C and then dried to less than 2 wt% of the content of moisture. The nonhalogen thermoplastic resin is preferably polypropylene, polyethylene, ABS (acetonitrile-butadiene-styrene) resin, AS resin or poly(lactic acid). The molded product can be prepared by an injection molding, an extruding molding, a calender molding, or vacuum or press molding of a sheet.
