PURPOSE: The aim is to provide cream typed or pessary typed pharmaceutical compositions for administration in the treatment of vaginitis comprising one or more anti-vaginitis medicaments and one or more local anaesthetics CONSTITUTION: Metronidazole which is active for Trichomonas vaginalis and miconazole which is anti-fungal medicine can be used as anti-vaginitis. 250-1500 mg/pessary of metronidazole is usually used. 0.1 to 10.0 weight % of lidocaine can be used as local anaesthetics. p-aminobenzoic acid esther type anaesthetics such as benzocaine can be used.
