PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability after the interruption of a memory copy function by providing a 1st controlling means which holds stored image data after an operation is interrupted and performs image formation control and a 2nd controlling means which eliminates the stored image data, reads and stores an original when an image formation operation is resumed and performs image formation control. SOLUTION: When copy is interrupted, a basic part CPU: 311 that is the controlling means of a digitally copying machine 1 shows a selection image on whether to hold or to eliminate data in/from a message displaying part when the data exist in a page memory PM: 323 and urges a user to make a selection. When holding or elimination is selected, the data of the PM: 323 are held or eliminated. The basic part CPU: 311 performs rescan with a scanner 2 by resuming the copy, stores data in the PM: 323 and resumes data print in the PM: 323 including the held data when the held data exist by a printer 3. |
