PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inspection apparatus in which an ultrasonic probe can be positioned quickly by a method wherein a raising and lowering shaft, a first gear, a second gear, a rotating shaft, a fixed pin and a spring are operated so as to cooperate and the ultrasonic probe is positioned with reference to a vibration which is generated in a flaw detecting inspection. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 25 is pressed against the repulsive force of a spring by using a socket wrench which is fitted to a bit part at the tip of the rotating shaft 25. The rotating shaft 25 is slid and guided in its direction of rotation and its axial direction by a bush 26. When the rotating shaft 25 is slid, a fixed pin 27 comes off from a groove on the rotating shaft 25, and the rotating shaft 25 cannot be turned. When the rotating shaft 25 is turned in this state, a gear 24 is turned together, and its rotation is transmitted to a gear 23. The gear 23 and a raising and lowering shaft 22 are engaged by a screw. When the movement in the axial direction of the screw on the gear 23 is fixed, the raising and lowering shaft 22 is moved to the axial direction of the screw. An ultrasonic probe is moved together with an arm 21 and a holder 19 in a direction at right angles to a conveyance direction, and it is reset in a prescribed position with reference to an object 1 to be tested. |
