PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect automatic contact in the temperature control of refrigerator against damage. SOLUTION: The temperature detector fixing metal for refrigerator is made of a resilient thin metal plate having S-shaped side view wherein a part 3 to be fitted with a thermistor 2 is formed at the upper part and a part 5 to be fitted with the pipe 4 of refrigerator, or the like, is formed at the lower part. The fitting parts 3, 5 are formed on the opposite sides so that the thermistor 2 fitted in the fitting part 3 and the pipe 4 fitted in the fitting part 5 do not touch directly each other.
