FELINE VACCINES CONTAINING CHLAMYDIA PSITTACI AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cat chlamydia psittaci composition is provided to have a high immunity while not having a high antigen mass. CONSTITUTION: A vaccine for a chlamydia infection is manufactured by: cultivating a chlamydia psittaci in a yolk sac; obtaining a yolk sac film from the yolk sac for freezing the obtained material as a main breed; cultivating the main breed or a main breed passage in a high sensitive cell strain being grown on the surface until 80% of the cell strain is destroyed by the chlamydia psittaci; obtaining the culturing containing the chlamydia psittaci carrying the destroyed sensitive cell strain or the cell strain; removing the destroyed cell strain from the chlamydia psittaci; inactivating the chlamydia psittaci; and mixing the chlamydia psittaci with a subsidiary material or a carrier being acceptable physiologically.
