ESTIMATING METHOD OF ROAD STATE IN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: An estimating method of the road state in an automatic transmission is provided to estimate the road state with a control device for controlling the operation unit, the micro-controller, the memory device and the oil-pressure control device. CONSTITUTION: The estimating method of the road state in an automatic transmission is composed of the steps of:calculating the horizontal acceleration of a vehicle to estimate the curve from the measured wheel rotational frequency; starting the previous set time from the processing function if the consequence is yes by examining if a car has passed the first curve; deciding the driver's type set value and the first increment from the car horizontal acceleration and the car velocity; examining from the judging function if the competent time is passed to grasp if the car has passed the other curve within the previous set time, and activating the processing function to calculate the second increment computed by the factor according to the passing time of the previous set time to the first increment if the consequence is no; and calculating a line of the transmission characteristic from the second increment.
