MINIMUM SIZED ELECTRIC CONNECTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An inexpensive connector without a barb is provided to maintain a functional characteristic of a connector of the traditional technology with the barb and to manufacture without an insert shaping. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector includes; a shaft directional insulating member(22) containing a terminal maintaining instrument; a conductive terminal(10) being located in the terminal maintaining instrument; and an insulating housing(66) containing an around wall and a shaft directional opening. Herein, the shaft directional insulating member is inserted to the shaft directional opening of the insulating housing member for the conductive terminal being fixed in the conductive terminal maintaining instrument. The terminal maintaining instrument is grooves(44, 46) or slots on the shaft directional insulating member, and the electric connector is a plug or a receptacle.
