PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input device with a good assembling characteristic and a small number of components. SOLUTION: In on operation input device, an oval operation button 11 is attached to an opening 2a of a main body 2 so as to be rotatable. Shaft portions 11a, 11b are supported by being inserted in bearing parts 2b, 2c of the main body. A torsion spring 12 to energize the operation button is set in a recess 2d of the opening 2a, and its arm parts 12b, 12c are locked in locking holes 2e, 2f of the opening 2b. By pressing one of ends of the operation button against energizing force of the torsion spring 12, one of switch contact patterns 17a, 17b arranged below is set in On-state.
