<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime of a battery that is built into a wireless mouse and to shorten the time when a computer input operation is interrupted by the charging or replacement of the battery. SOLUTION: X and Y axis direction moved amount transmission shafts 2 and 3 which are placed to touch a ball 1 rotate in response to the movements of a mouse. Thus, X and Y axis direction moved amount detection gears 4 and 5 and generators 6 and 7 which are attached to the shafts 2 and 3 respectively rotate, and X and Y axis direction moved amount sensors 8 and 9 measure the rotational directions and rotational amount of the ball 1 on the X and Y axes respectively. Meanwhile, the generators 6 and 7 generate an electric power corresponding to the rotational speed of the ball 1 and this electric power is supplied to a secondary battery 12 which is built into the mouse.</p> |
