PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of dusts due to abrasion by selecting inexpensive materials whose sliding resistance is reduced between a shutter and guide members for the materials of the guide members for the shutter of a disk cartridge separately from a cartridge case. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge is provided with a cartridge case 1A for protecting a storage medium, shutter 3 for protecting the opening of the cartridge case 1A, and guide members 5A and 5B for guiding the opening and closing of the shutter 3. The guide members 5A and 5B are formed of metal or hard synthetic resin as main materials so that both side parts to be brought into contact with the shutter part can be made of the same materials separately from the shutter case, and mounted on the cartridge case 1A. Also, in the case of forming the guide members of the hard synthetic resin as main materials, a fluorine contained resin dust body is contained in the main materials for reducing a sliding resistance.
