PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active noise vibration control unit which can prevent the reduction effect of noise and vibration from greatly decreasing by reducing variation of phase characteristics of a drive signal. SOLUTION: A controller 25 is provided with a phase characteristic variation reducing process part 25G which generates a new adaptive digital filter W by performing interpolative operation canceling variation of phase characteristics of a drive signal (y) accompanying the switching of a division number D for respective filter coefficients of an adaptive digital filter when the division number D is switched and then generates a new adaptive digital filter W consisting of filter coefficients as many as the division number D after the switching by properly interpolating or thinning out the respective filter coefficients Wi of the adaptive digital filter W after the interpolative operation. When the division number D is switched, the new adaptive digital filter W is used to generate the drive signal (y).
