MOUNTING-ON-HEAD TYPE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a head-on-mounting type display device which allows the easy attachment and detachment of a connecting member of a display and an optical system to the display and is capable of preventing the failure, wear and deformation of the connecting member and the display at the time of attachment and detachment thereof. SOLUTION: The connecting member 12 for connecting the optical system 13 for changing the optical path of the image display light emitted from the display held by a holding part mounted on the head to the display has a metallic reinforcing member 32 to be embedded into a main body 31 made of a synthetic resin. The main body 31 has a fitting part 31c to a connecting part 31b. A projecting part 41 is disposed in either of the connecting member 31 and a synthetic resin casing 24 of the display and a recessed part 42 is disposed in the other. At the time of fitting of the fitting part 31c into a receiving part 43 of the casing 24 and drawing of the fitting part 31c from the receiving part 43, the connecting part 31b is pressed by the casing 24 via the projecting part 41 and is thereby elastically deformed. The projecting part 41 is fitted into the recessed part 42 by the elastic restoration of the connecting part 31b in the state that the fitting of the fitting part 31c into the receiving part 43 is completed.
