METHOD FOR PREPARING A SOLID COSMETIC GYPSUM PLASTER BASED COMPOSITION ANDRESULTING COSMETIC COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A solid gypsum plaster based composition is provided to prevent a side effect caused by an excessive density of an antiseptic and to obtain a uniform dispersion of the antiseptic in the final composition. CONSTITUTION: The invention concerns a method for preparing a solid gypsum plaster based composition, in particular cosmetic, consisting in the following steps: preparing a powdery mixture containing at least a semi-hydrated calcium sulphate in powder form; adding an aqueous phase to the powdery mixture; kneading the powdery mixture and the aqueous phase to obtain a castable mixture; pouring the castable mixture into a mold; allowing the mixture to harden by hydrating the semi-hydrated calcium sulphate into di-hydrated calcium sulphate. The method is characterized in that it consists in adding in the powdery mixture, before adding the aqueous phase, a non-aqueous liquid preserving system. The invention also concerns a composition, in particular cosmetic, obtainable by this method.
