PURPOSE: A driving method is provided to easily the control of blooming restraint voltage, to reduce the voltage to be needed for shuttering. CONSTITUTION: The driving method has the steps of: forming the 1st one-way conduction-type area having one-way conduction-type impurity density lower than the 1st one-way conduction-type area; forming p-n contact; providing a camera tube device having one-way conduction-type layer constitutes the photo diode unit; feeding the blooming restraint voltage of the reverse bias between the reverse conduction-type area and the 1st one-way conduction-type area; thereby, enabling making the control of blooming restraint voltage easier and restraining the change of saturated the amount of electric charge inside of the photo diode unit, improving the ratio of signal to noise, and also improving dynamic range of the solid camera tube device.
