Means for adjusting foot pedals for use by a seated operator by use of an adjustable frame on which the pedals are mounted. The device comprises a pedal (1) articulated about an axis (9) on a support (17) which can be adjusted towards or away from the seat (3) of a user. The pedal is connected with a rod (54) by means of a sliding coupling (57), the rod being articulated by use of levers (44,45) on a support structure (10). The rod and levers together with the pedal form a deformable parallelogram that is the means for regulating the pedal with respect to its support (10). The balanced lever operation of the pedal is transmitted by one of the levers (44,45) to a connecting rod (72) that connects to the activating device (6).
