PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize long-tern stable operation by eliminating nonconformities caused characteristics caused by the deficiencies in a separator. SOLUTION: A fuel cell carbon plate equipped with a fluororesin-penetrated layer 10 within is manufactured by laminating a base material 5A made of porous carbon and fitted with ribs on the fuel pole side and a base material 6A fitted with ribs on the air pole side with a fluororesin sheet interposed therebetween, and heating, pressing and thereby binding them, and then matrices sandwiched between a fuel pole 3 and an air pole 4 and the fuel cell carbon plates are laminated to constitute a fuel cell body. |
