PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trap a sufficient amount of hydrogen chloride gas generated in incineration, while securing the strength and wear resistance of a cover on a power/signal transmission wire having conductors covered with a chloride- containing resin. SOLUTION: In a power/signal transmission wire comprising conductors 1 protected by a cover composed chiefly of a chloride-containing resin, the cover comprises at least two layers, with the inner layer 3 containing a hydrogen chloride trapping component and at least the outermost layer 4 containing substantially no hydrogen chloride trapping component. Desirably, the inner layer 3 of the cover contains 100 to 200 pts.wt. of the hydrogen chloride trapping component and 30 to 100 pts.wt. of a plasticizer for 100 pts.wt. of the chloride- containing resin and the outermost layer 4 contains 25 to 50 pts.wt. of the plasticizer for 100 pts.wt. of the chloride-containing resin. |
