PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-like assembly which is composed of a case and outer casings, wherein the outer casings are fixed to the case bearing against the contacting parts of the case, without producing gaps or affecting a member built in the case. SOLUTION: A box-like assembly is constituted of a case middle frame 1 and an upper and a lower outer casing, 2 and 3, the middle frame 1 is equipped with a boss 1d that is provided to a thin-walled flexible part 1e connected which is continuously to a base board 1a, and edges 2a that bear against flanges 1b of the middle frame 1 and a machine screw hole 2b are provided to the lower outer casing 2. A machine screw 4 is screwed into the boss 1d to fix the lower outer housing 2 to the middle frame 1, a thin-walled flexible part 1e is deformed but the base board 1a is hardly deformed when the lower outer housing 2 is fixed to the middle frame 1, so that a base board mounting member is restrained from being affected.
