PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display and edit device of continuous media information that edits continuous media information, such as video and audio with high efficiency by using a computer and to provide the display and edit method of the continuous media information and the recording medium recorded with its processing procedure. SOLUTION: A frame display section 8a display each image frame of dynamic image continuously in a lateral direction of a screen, a line feed section 8c starts a new line by using a scene change point as a section and displays each scene in the line unit. Furthermore, a line feed mark explicit section 8d clearly displays a line feed mark at each line feed position to allow the user to easily understand the scene unit. Furthermore, when the display frame of the image set by a display frame setting section (e) is exceeded, a turnaround point section 8f is folded back in the display frame to display it on a succeeding line.
