PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the exposure dose by providing a cylindrical washing case halved and connected on one-side ends by a hinge, and combining a nozzle box to be mounted on the upper end surface to wash inner and outer filters with the washing case. SOLUTION: A control rod drive mechanism is pulled down from the bottom of a reactor, and a halved washing case 18 is put on the tip part from the outside in this state. The halved pieces of the case 18 are integrated together by a hinge, and the case 18 is set so as to enclose the tip part of the drive mechanism and fixed by catch clips, whereby the case 18 is perfectly made into a cylindrical form to bring a cover 9 into contact with the circumference of an outside filter 14 and a packing 10 into contact with the circumference of an outer tube 11, whereby the case 18 is mounted on the end part of the drive mechanism. A nozzle box 4 is inserted from above and fixed to the case 18 by a screw. A pure water feed hose is connected to a one-touch coupler 7, and a waste solution hose is connected to a discharge pipe 8. The water flow from a nozzle 4a washes away the clud adhered to the inner surface of the filter 14, and the resulting water is discharged from the pipe 8.
