PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the selling of a commodity deteriorated in quality due to its long-term stay in a heating zone in a vending machine partioning a storage zone for storing commodities stored in a commodity storing chamber at room temperature and a heating zone for holding commodities in a heated state. SOLUTION: At every movement of each commodity 6 from a storage zone 7 to a heating zone 8, the movement date of the commodity 6 is recorded and the staying period of each commodity 6 is calculated from current time and the movement date and recorded. Whether the staying period exceeds a prescribed stayable time or not is checked, and when the staying period exceeds it, vending of the commodity 6 is stopped. Consequently, vending of a commodity 6 deteriorated in quality due to a long-term stay in the heating zone 8 can be suppressed.
